What Makes Quick Pad Special?

You can find Quick Pad in the Microsoft App Store. It’s a UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app, which means you can use it on your Xbox or even your Windows Phone if that’s still your thing. When you open it up, you're greeted with a sleek translucent text box. It feels familiar like Notepad but offers way more features!

User-Friendly Features

The first thing you'll notice is the top menu. It lets you do cool things like bold, italics, underline, and strikethrough! You can also align text however you want—though let’s be real; most of us just use it for quick notes! One really handy feature is the bullet points option and the autosave function that Notepad doesn’t have.

Your Sticky Note Buddy

If you hit the “On Top” button in the menu, your text window pops over to the top-right corner of your screen like a sticky note! This might just be our favorite part because it's perfect for jotting something quick and pinning it so you don’t forget while tackling other tasks.

Customize Your Look

You can adjust Quick Pad's theme to match Windows 10's Light or Dark mode. Both look fantastic! Plus, it’s not only stylish but also entertaining. You’ll find all those classic Microsoft emojis along with useful symbols and text emojis. If you prefer a cleaner look while writing, there’s a Focus Mode that hides all distractions like toolbars and ads.
