How to Access Your Calendar Data

To get your calendar data, you'll need to grab your private XML URL from the Google Calendar interface. Not sure how? No worries! Here’s a quick guide:

  • Open your Google Calendar.

  • Click on the Settings link on the right side of the page.

  • Select the calendar you want to use with Thunderbird Lightning or Sunbird.

  • At the bottom, click on one of the two XML buttons.

Secure Authentication

Your authentication happens securely through https. If you want to make sure your calendar data is safely transferred, just switch your URL from http:// to https://. It’s an easy way to keep everything secure!

Using Your URL in Thunderbird

Now that you've got your URL, use it as the Location when you go to File > New > Calendar > On the Network > Google Calendar in either Sunbird or Lightning. This will help you sync up everything without a hitch!

If you're ready to get started, check out this link. It's super easy and will make managing your calendar a breeze!
