Description
Process Blocker
Process Blocker is a lightweight software that helps administrators easily block programs based on a custom list. It’s super handy if you want to keep your kids from spending too much time chatting with friends or playing games. It’s also great for making sure your employees don’t use any unwanted software.
Simple User Interface
The user interface isn’t fancy, but it’s clean and straightforward. Everything is laid out simply, so you won’t have to fuss around with too many settings. Just a few tweaks here and there are all that’s needed!
Create Your Own Block List
With Process Blocker, you can make your own list of programs to block. You can add multiple items, edit or rename them, and turn the blocking on or off with just one click. Super easy!
Supported File Formats
This tool supports EXE, SCR, and COM file formats. You can choose which items to block using the built-in browse button—just keep in mind that drag-and-drop isn’t an option here.
Flexible Blocking Options
You can enter the full path or name of the executable file (wildcards and environment variables work too!) and even block apps with the same CRC if they get renamed or moved around. Plus, you can set up blocks by user or group and even create exception lists!
Configuration Settings Made Easy
The configuration settings let you log blocking activity automatically into a TXT file saved in a folder of your choice. You’ll also get notifications in the system tray when any listed utilities are blocked.
Fast Performance
During testing, we found that Process Blocker works quickly without errors! It uses minimal system resources, so it won’t slow down your computer.
A Great Solution for Everyone
If you’re looking for an easy-to-use solution for blocking certain applications, Process Blocker is perfect for both beginners and pros alike.
