Then, enter the cost for a KVA (that’s 1000 volt amps) where you live. After that, you'll need two more values: “Kva” and “cos.” This is where many people get stuck.

“Kva” stands for apparent power of your system and “cos” refers to the power factor. Don’t worry if these terms sound tricky; your electrician should be able to help you find these numbers!

Your Results

Once all your data is in, just hit “Calculate,” and you'll see important details like “Reactive Current,” “Reactive Power,” “Present Power,” “Total KW Available,” and even your potential “Monthly Savings.” Pretty cool, right?
