POOL SIMULATOR offers you the possibility to relax while playing billiards either from a 2D or 3D viewing mode. The game features a realistic physics simulator, which means that you get to experiment with different strategies and get sensible results.
Right off the bat, you get to adjust the AI's proficiency level or choose to play in training mode, but you can also select the room and table design. Worth mentioning is that you get access to all table designs only after you sign up for a premium subscription.
On the other hand, even though the simulator comes with a default cue stick, you can add more to your collection, including a break cue, via in-app purchases. Keep in mind that the extras are available only if you buy them: there is no in-game currency that you can win by playing pool.
The POOL SIMULATOR game greets you with a colorful tutorial which is comprised of ten slides covering all the basic functionalities. You get to learn how you can target a ball or a cushion, set a bank shot, aim your cue and move its position on the ball, adjust the shot's power, and so on.
When you make the shot, POOL SIMULATOR allows you to use either a 3D or a 2D view mode, depending on your preference.
Nevertheless, once you start preparing your shot, it seems that you cannot go back, so make sure to choose one of the higher resolutions so you will be able to see the balls.
POOL SIMULATOR will also display on screen messages letting you know what you need to do to start playing. Unfortunately, the help tips cannot be disabled.
Naturally, you cannot use POOL SIMULATOR to practice your dexterity, but the game offers you the possibility to enhance your ability to plan your moves while playing pool.
What's more, thanks to the realistic physics engine, you get to use different strategies for your shots and understand how the balls behave in certain situations.
