Description

PolyCalc

PolyCalc is a handy little app that's perfect for both casual users and tech whizzes. It packs in three types of calculators: basic, programmer, and scientific. Plus, it supports a ton of cool features like decimal, hexadecimal, and binary modes, square roots, powers, and even logical and trig functions!

Easy to Download and Use

The setup file for PolyCalc unpacks super quickly without any fuss. When you open it up, you'll see that the interface is really simple—it's not all flashy or complicated. The default layout is basic but can easily be switched up from the menu bar if you want something different.

Features of the Basic Calculator

The basic calculator has all the usual options like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. But if you're feeling a bit more technical, the programmer mode lets you play around with fractions, powers, square roots, hex numbers, binary values—basically everything! You can work with 16-bit to 64-bit signed integers too!

Dive into Scientific Calculations

If math is your jam, then the scientific version will blow your mind! It includes constants like pi and e along with randomization features. You can also calculate sine, cosine, tangent—all those fun trig functions—and both regular and natural logarithms! You can use your mouse or keyboard to enter commands; it's super flexible.

Macros Made Easy

This tool doesn't stop there! It lets you record macros for those repetitive tasks we all love to hate. Keyboard shortcuts make it easy to start or stop recordings and even save them as files (.pcm) so you can load them later when needed. The status bar shows a command log that you can clear whenever you want.

A Solid Choice Overall

In summary, PolyCalc is loaded with tons of mathematical functions that cater to programming and science needs. Its user-friendly design makes it easy to create and save macro scripts too! Plus, during our tests, we found that it uses very little system resources while staying stable throughout its runtime.
