Picture Hanger is a super handy app that makes hanging your picture frames a breeze! It helps you figure out the perfect distance from the floor to hang your frame, so you can show off your favorite art or photos without any guesswork.

Easy to Use Features

This app comes with some really intuitive options. You just need to measure your frame and the walls around it. Whether you're at home or on the go, since it's a Metro app, you can install Picture Hanger on desktops and mobile devices with touch support. Just make sure you're using Windows 8, 8.1, or 10!

No Internet? No Problem!

One of the coolest things about Picture Hanger is that it doesn’t need an internet connection to work. Yup, that's right! You can calculate your picture placement even when you're offline. It's all packed in a Modern UI for a smooth experience.

How to Get Started

Getting started is easy! First, measure your photo frame from edge to edge. Then check the distance from the top of your picture to where you'll hang it (usually right in the center). If there's a wire on the back of your frame, just pull it tight towards the center for an accurate measurement.

Calculate Your Placement

Once you've got those measurements, hit that “Calculate Picture Placement” button at the bottom left of the window. The app will tell you exactly how many inches above the floor you should hang your frame!

Optional Settings for Perfect Height

If you're aiming for a specific height for your picture, just enter how far from the floor you want to place it at its top edge in Picture Hanger.

Centering Your Frame

You can also center your picture on the wall by setting its width and height within the app. There's even a graphical representation that helps double-check distances from both the floor and top of your frame—how cool is that?

Simplified Sharing Options

While there aren't features for copying or saving info directly into files, Picture Hanger does integrate with Windows share charm. This means if you take a screenshot, you can easily send it to another Modern UI app!
