The installation is quick and straightforward. You shouldn’t run into any issues. Just keep in mind that it needs Ghostscript to work properly.

How to Access PCS PDF Creator

After you install it, double-clicking the .exe file might show a few error messages, but don’t worry! Just open the print panel of any program that allows printing, and you'll be good to go.

User-Friendly Interface

The tool has a simple layout where you can choose where to save your new PDF and what to name it. You can also set it up to open the file when it's done or even send it via email. One thing to note is that this window stays on top of everything else, which can be a bit annoying if you're multitasking.

Quality Profiles and Customization

You get three preset profiles for PDFs: web (low quality), print (normal quality), and prepress (high quality). If you want something special, you can easily create your own profile by picking the PDF version from 1.2 to 1.6 and setting the resolution anywhere between 72 and 1200. Plus, you can adjust color settings for grayscale or monochrome PDFs!

Document Properties & Security Features

You can add details like title, author, subject, and keywords for each document. If you want extra security, set passwords for opening or changing the files! You can also decide whether users can copy text or images from them.

Performance Testing

When we tested it out, PCS PDF Creator created PDFs quickly without slowing down our computer at all! It uses low CPU and RAM so there were no crashes or annoying error messages popping up while we worked.

A Few Downsides

The only downside? It has ads for other products by the same developer which some users might find bothersome. But overall, PCS PDF Creator does a great job turning your printable files into PDFs!
