The app uses meta-logic to draw stars line-by-line, giving users real-time visibility into the whole process. Users can control transparency, color, line thickness, and drawing speed while choosing to maintain or break symmetry.

Algebra is used in OghamStars, with all equations based on the parameter "X." This parameter affects the number of points, overlapping triangles, possible angles, and lines in the geometry. The "X" number field is located in the upper-left corner of the GUI, making it easy for users to input any number to initiate the drawing process.

Users can restart the process at any moment by pressing Enter and incrementally adjust X using the arrow keys. For further guidance, a HELP text file is available within the app's archive, providing additional information on the application's functionality.
