Description

NHI1

NHI1 is a cool command-line tool made for developers, scientists, researchers, and system admins who want to dive into creating artificial intelligence—yep, non-human intelligence! Whether you're looking to build something today or before 2040, this software has got your back.

What’s the Goal of NHI1?

The main aim of this project is to help you develop that non-human brain you’ve been dreaming about. It does this by using various open-source projects like theBrain, which acts as a solid storage system, and theLink (formerly known as libmsgque). So you know you're in good hands!

Programming Languages Supported

NHI1 works with several popular programming languages! Whether you code in Python, C, C++, Java, C#, Perl, Ruby, PHP, VB.NET, or Tcl—NHI1's got something for everyone. Plus, it runs on major operating systems like GNU/Linux, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X. It's been tested on both 64-bit (x86_64) and 32-bit (x86) architectures.

How to Install NHI1 on Your System

If you’re ready to jump in and install NHI1 on your GNU/Linux system, you'll first need to grab the latest version from Softpedia. It comes as a bz2 compressed TAR archive. Just save that package somewhere handy on your computer.

Getting Started with Installation

Once you've saved it, extract the contents using your favorite archive manager. Next up: open a terminal emulator and navigate to where you extracted those files using the ‘cd’ command (like this: cd /home/softpedia/NHI1-0.17).

Configuration and Compilation Steps

Now it's time to configure! Run the ‘./configure’ command to set everything up for your specific architecture or OS. After that’s done—and it might take a moment—you’ll want to compile NHI1 by running the ‘make’ command.

Final Installation Steps

If all goes well and there are no hiccups along the way, finish up by installing it system-wide with either ‘make install’ as root or ‘sudo make install’ if you're logged in as a privileged user.

Using NHI1

You can start using NHI1 right away! Just type ‘nhi1’ in your terminal emulator application and get going!
