NdisWrapper is an open source piece of software that provides users with a NDIS (Network Driver Interface Specification) driver wrapper for the Linux kernel. In other words, it allows users to use the Windows drivers of a wireless network card in any GNU/Linux operating system.

  • Enables use of Windows drivers on Linux

  • Supports various wireless network cards

  • Works on 64-bit and 32-bit hardware platforms

  • No graphical user interface, command-line interface only

  • Allows installation, removal, and configuration of drivers
