National Weather Service Radar with Bing Maps is a handy gadget that helps you keep an eye on the weather outside. It pulls the latest radar images straight from a National Weather Service radar station. So, you can see what's happening in real-time!
You can easily set up the gadget to display images from the closest NWS Radar station to your location. Plus, there’s an option to drop a little marker on the map so you can see exactly where you are!
When you expand the gadget, it shows radar images right on an interactive Bing map. It’s super easy to use! In expanded mode, you'll notice three extra buttons at your fingertips:
- The radar sites are only available in the U.S., so keep that in mind!
- Any settings you change will stay put until you decide to close the gadget manually.
- If you're curious about your area, just click on that location marker when it's expanded! It will take you directly to the National Weather Service forecast page for your spot.
This gadget is perfect for anyone wanting quick and reliable weather updates right at their fingertips!
