Once you open the app, everything is right there in front of you. You can easily see all your options! You just need to enter the local IP address of the server where MySQL is installed on your network. Plus, you’ll specify the MySQL port number and username, and choose a password dictionary file.

Password Dictionary Included

MysqlPasswordAuditor even comes with its own password dictionary file to help kick things off! But if you want, you can change this file using something simple like Windows Notepad. You could also create a new one from scratch with all the passwords you want to check. Just remember that it's case sensitive—so ‘password’ is different from ‘Password’!

After starting an audit, you can keep an eye on how things are going! The app shows the current status and how much time has passed, plus what password it's testing at that moment. When it finishes scanning, you'll get results that can be exported as HTML, XML, or TXT files for review later. This report will show important info like server details and whether any passwords were found.
