MyBar is a handy little tool that makes accessing your favorite apps super easy. It lets you create shortcuts to all the things you use most often, plus it even has a built-in music player for when you want to chill out while working.

Quick Access to Your Favorite Apps

This software helps you save time by putting everything at your fingertips. When you run MyBar, it adds a compact toolbar to your desktop. You can move it around anywhere or keep it docked. Just so you know, it can only stick to the top-center of your screen, which is a bit limiting since there's no way to set it in other spots.

Shortcut Features and Limitations

The app lets you store up to 6 shortcuts for programs—just not folders. To add these shortcuts, you'll need to use the selection screen. Unfortunately, there’s no drag and drop feature, which would have made things easier. And remember, if you make any changes and forget to hit the “Set” button, they won’t be saved!

Enjoy Music While You Work

Another cool feature of MyBar is its music player! You can pick songs straight from your desktop menu. However, there’s a catch: there’s no playlist manager or list of songs available, so you're stuck with just one file at a time.

Exporting Custom Configurations

You can also export custom settings for later use, but honestly, the options are pretty limited. Loading each configuration through file explorer can take some extra time too.

A Mixed Bag Overall

All things considered, MyBar tries hard to help you access your desktop better but doesn't quite hit the mark. The idea behind it is solid; however, the limited features hold it back from truly being effective. It's mainly good for playing a song now and then.
