Creating Your Custom Tiles

This program lets you create tiles that can link to different system functions or even your favorite webpages. You can easily drag and drop these tiles wherever you want on your screen. Super convenient, right?

Full Screen Mode for Easy Viewing

If you want a better view of all your tiles, Mosaic has a full-screen mode! By default, it shows a neat little widget with the date and time, so you'll always know what time it is while you're working.

Quick Access to Your Favorites

Mosaic makes it easy to set up tiles for quick access to things like Control Panel, Desktop, Gmail, Music, Pictures, Twitter, Video, and Weather updates. Need to remove a tile? Just drag it over the recycle icon—easy peasy! Plus, you can even add custom apps or link your Facebook friends as tiles.

Customizing Your Experience

The tool hides some cool settings that let you change the background color and turn on features like full-screen mode and animations for the widgets. You can also choose whether or not to show the menu button.

A Clean Layout with Some Bugs

When we tested Mosaic, we found that it offers a clean layout for organizing all those Windows 8-like tiles. However, it did crash sometimes when we tried adding new programs as tiles. So keep in mind—it does use quite a bit of CPU and memory; you'll need a solid computer to make it work smoothly.
