What is a Photo Montage?

A photo montage is basically an animated graphic theme that works as a plug-in inside FCP and Motion. It helps you showcase all the pictures stored in a folder on your hard drive without all the hassle of doing it manually.

Why Use Mondrianesque?

This plug-in takes care of the hard work for you! Just point it to the folder with your images, and it automatically places them into the montage. No more dragging and dropping each photo!

Image Captions Made Easy

You can even use the name of each image as its caption. The theme will add these names for you, but just remember to name your files properly without .jpg or .tif at the end.

Visual Guides for Your Photos

The theme also comes with visual guides that let you know which pictures are included and where they loop throughout the sequence. This makes it super easy to see how everything fits together!

Finding the Plug-In

The Mondrianesque Photo Montage plug-in can be found in the Generators Tab of your filter collection inside Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Express, or Motion. You’ll find plenty of controls here to tweak how captions look and manage looping options.
