This app sits quietly in your status bar and reminds you to take breaks by playing a sound at intervals you set. Once you've got it all set up, it works behind the scenes. The only way you'll know it's there is by looking at the tiny icon in your status bar.
If you click on the Mindful Mynah icon, it opens a simple menu. Here, you can easily start the timer and see what sound is playing and how long until the next reminder. You can also dive into Preferences to tweak things just how you like them.
You can set a timer anywhere from 1 minute to 2 hours! How cool is that? And guess what? It comes with 15 different sounds for your reminders! You can pick from Celesta, Church Bell, Dulcimer, Gong, Handclap, Knock, Koto, Marimba, Shimmer, Thump, Tibetan Singing Bowl, Tick Tock, Tubular Bell, Whistle and Xylophone. There’s even a slider to adjust the volume of those sounds!
While Mindful Mynah doesn’t have tons of fancy features or customization options like some other apps out there do, its simplicity makes it incredibly useful. Whether you're trying to focus on a project or just need a reminder for something repetitive like stretching or getting up from your desk—this app has got your back!
