Mime Tool is a lightweight and portable application that gives you the possibility to encode and decode text and files using the MIME Base64 encoding methods. It's wrapped in a simple interface and features intuitive options for all users, not only those experienced with such software.

The GUI is made from a single window split into two parts for inputting text and viewing results returned by the program. You can type or paste text to decode in the upper pane and view encoded results in the lower pane, or vice versa.

Text can be loaded from files by indicating an item using the file browser, whose contents are immediately displayed in the window. Data can be encoded or decoded with the click of a button, as well as encoded or decode to file, after specifying the saving directory, file name and extension.

Unfortunately, Mime Tool is not explicit concerning the supported file types, but we've noticed that it works with plain text documents.
