MetroTasks is a super handy app for Windows 8 and 10 that helps you manage your tasks and to-do lists easily. It has a nice, user-friendly design, and you'll need a Google account to get started. Plus, you can take screenshots and send them via email or OneNote!

Easy Installation from the Windows Store

You can grab the application straight from the Windows Store. The interface is minimalistic with a cool purple menu that’s easy on the eyes.

Sync with Your Google Account

When you first launch MetroTasks, it asks you to sync with your Google account. This step is key because it lets you create and manage all your tasks right within the app!

User-Friendly Features

If you look at the upper left corner, you'll spot three lines. Clicking on them brings up all sorts of commands for MetroTasks. You can search for stuff, share screenshots via email or OneNote (if you've got it), and check out info about your account along with the privacy policy. Just a heads-up: if you sign out, all your tasks and lists will disappear!

Organize Your Tasks in Lists

The menu splits into two main sections—one shows overdue tasks, notes for today, or messages set for later. You can create your own lists too! Name them whatever you want and fill them up with tasks and notes.

Rename Notes for Easy Access

If you need to rename any of your to-do notes, go ahead! It makes finding them easier when using the search feature. Once you finish a task, there’s an option to mark it as completed so it's easy to see what’s done versus what’s still hanging around.

Set Due Dates and Get Reminders

With MetroTasks, you can add due dates for each task so it automatically reminds you about anything that's overdue! You can even add more details to your notes or copy-paste text from somewhere else if that helps.
