Memento

Memento is a super easy software to help you create and manage little notes on your computer. It's way better than the basic notes app that comes with some versions of Windows. You can organize your notes easily and even handle files right from the notification area.

Installation and Interface

Installing Memento is a breeze! Once it's up and running, you'll find that it has a really friendly graphical interface. To create a note, just double-click on its icon in the notification area. Plus, you can easily make your notes bigger or smaller, and the date and time when you created them are shown at the top of each note.

Note Colors and Management

Now, unlike the default notes in Windows, Memento doesn’t let you pick specific colors for your notes. But don't worry! They come in various random colors that are nice to look at. You can move your notes around on the screen or resize them however you like. Normally, they stay on top of everything else, but if you want to hide one, just click the close icon. It'll minimize down to the Memento icon in the notification area.

Managing Your Notes

If you need to delete a note, just shift-click the close icon. Want to fold up a note? Just double-click its title bar, and it will only show the title bar! To see all your notes, simply left-click on the Memento icon; it'll bring up a list for you to choose from.

Customizing Your Experience

You have options too! You can enable or disable colored notes and decide if you want scroll bars on them. Plus, there's even an option to set up hotkeys for quicker access!

Take Your Notes Anywhere

If you're someone who likes having their notes handy wherever they go, Memento has this cool 'Standalone' mode! It checks for a 'Memento.notes' file in the same folder as its EXE file so you can take your notes along without any hassle.
