Memento is a super easy-to-use software that helps you create small notes right on your computer. You can arrange them however you like, manage files from the notification area, and tweak settings to fit your needs. It comes with a bunch of cool tools, way more than what you get with the basic notes app on some Windows versions.

Easy Installation and User-Friendly Interface

Installing Memento is a breeze! It has an intuitive graphical interface that makes everything simple. You can create notes just by double-clicking the icon in your notification area. Plus, if you want to see when your notes were made, they show the date and time right at the top of each note.

Colorful Notes

Unlike the regular Windows notes, Memento doesn’t let you pick specific colors for your notes. But don’t worry! They come in various random colors that are really easy on the eyes.

Moving and Resizing Notes

You can easily move your notes around the screen and resize them just like you'd expect. Normally, they sit on top of everything else but if you need to clear some space, just click the close icon—your note will minimize down to the Memento icon in your notification area.

Managing Your Notes

If you want to delete a note, just shift-click on that close icon. Also, if you double-click on a note's title bar, it will fold up so only the title shows. If you left-click on the Memento icon, you'll see all your notes listed out. Just select one to edit it!

Custom Settings for Your Notes

The app gives you options to enable or disable colored notes and choose if you want scroll bars in them. Plus, there’s even a way to set up hotkeys for quick access.

Taking Your Notes Anywhere

If you're someone who likes keeping their notes handy while traveling or working from different places, Memento has a 'Standalone' mode. It checks for a 'Memento.notes' file in its folder when it starts up so that it can load those notes right away.
