Easy Setup for Measure Schmeasure

The setup is quick and pretty straightforward. Just keep in mind that you’ll need to have the .NET Framework installed on your computer for the app to work smoothly.

User-Friendly Ruler Interface

When you open Measure Schmeasure, it shows a horizontal frame that looks just like a ruler, thanks to its color and measurement ticks. You can easily resize this frame by dragging the right edge. The cool part? It instantly calculates the number of pixels as you do this!

Resize Options & Tips

You can also make the ruler wider by dragging from the bottom margin. However, if you want to see both vertical and horizontal dimensions at once, you'll need to switch it to vertical mode using the right-click menu.

A Note About Flip & Readability

We did notice that when you flip the ruler vertically, sometimes it might be a bit awkward because the pixel measurements stay in place. You might find yourself tilting your head just to read them! But don’t worry; enabling tooltips can help with this little hiccup.

Customization Features Galore

If customization is your thing, Measure Schmeasure has got you covered! You can choose whether or not it remembers its location and size between sessions. You can even change colors for text, background, and resizing highlights. And if you ever want to start fresh, there’s a one-click option to reset everything back to default.

This tiny tool doesn’t take up much space in terms of system performance either! In our tests, it ran smoothly without crashing or causing any errors.
