Marks is a tool designed to help teachers keep track of student progress, especially with all the tech we have today. It's still a work in progress, but there's something engaging about it that might make you want to explore more.
One thing that can be pretty clumsy is adding your school's address. When you first open the app, the interface doesn't really guide you on where to input this info. You'll need to click through several tabs before you finally find the spot for it. This part definitely shows that Marks could use some refining.
The good news is that you can add plenty of details using this app! Besides courses, you can include lessons too. Each student gets their own space where their progress shows up as a graph. The idea is that the graph will change based on the grades you enter, but right now it doesn't seem to show any clear trends.
When it comes to organization, Marks does pretty well! Everything has its own spot, and menus are neatly arranged. Teachers can even create surveys for students to gather feedback on different topics. While this feature sounds great, it appears to not be fully functional just yet.
So yes, Marks has a long way to go before it's fully polished up. But even at this stage, it offers some useful tools for teachers looking for a modern way to track how their students are doing in class.
