Mammon is a free, multiplatform cryptocurrency tracker that works on your Mac. It's built with the Electron development platform and has a cool status bar with a multi-tabbed user interface.
Once you start up Mammon, it adds an item to your Mac's menu bar. You can see either a simple icon or the current prices of your top two favorite cryptocurrencies right there!
The Market tab makes it super easy to keep an eye on over 700 different digital currencies. You can check their current prices and see how much they've changed in the last hour or day—both in numbers and percentages.
You can also select your favorite cryptocurrencies in this tab. Although this won't change their order, it lets you pick which two coins show up in the status bar for quick viewing.
If you want to be alerted about price changes, use the bell icon next to each coin. Just hover over it and set reminders when your selected currency goes above or below a specific price, or when its value changes by a certain percentage within an hour or day.
Mammon also includes a Portfolio tab so you can keep tabs on how much your cryptocurrency investments are worth. It automatically calculates everything in real-time using up-to-date prices for each currency.
The third tab is called News, where you can catch up on all the latest happenings in the crypto world. This is super helpful given how quickly things change in the market!
You can really make Mammon feel like yours! Use the Preferences window to customize its look, change default currencies for tray, market, and portfolio views, and even set it to launch automatically when you log in.
In short, if you're into investing or have some savings in cryptocurrency, Mammon is something you shouldn't miss out on! It keeps you updated with live prices so you're always informed.
You can also set up alerts to notify you if your portfolio drops suddenly when one of your digital currencies loses value too quickly.
