Lync User Management Tool (also known as LUMT) is a dedicated software solution that was designed to aid administrators manage ACEs, contacts as well as privacy settings on behalf of Skype for Business Server 2015 users in a quick and effortless manner.

With Lync User Management Tool, users will be able to rapidly add contacts to default groups and even named groups, remove them from the contact list or add and remove ACEs in order to change the relationship level.

Installation

It is a portable tool, therefore it doesn't require any installation on the target computer, as simply unpacking the archive and launching the executable grants users full access to its controls. More so, it doesn't modify any Windows registries nor does it create additional files or folders on the target PC.

It is also possible to configure privacy settings for the user to be either public or private and even modify the alert notification settings for the users.

Since it doesn't have a graphical user interface (GUI), users will need to have a little know-how on operating the command prompt. However, attempting to execute the program without any arguments displays a list of parameters and a usage example that can be used as a starting point.
