Linear

Linear is a super handy tool that lets you place multiple resizable rulers right on your screen. This makes it way easier to get your graphic projects just right! You'll find a status bar menulet for quick access, plus system-wide hotkeys to speed things up.

Create and Resize Rulers

Getting started with Linear is a breeze. You can create as many rulers as you want and use your mouse to resize them. Just head over to the status bar menu or hit the global hotkey Control + Command + R.

Visibility Options

You can easily toggle the visibility of center guides using Command + ;, or hide all rulers with Control + Command + T. Each ruler window shows you the width and height of what you're measuring, plus you can switch between light and dark modes!

Settings and Units

The Settings panel is tucked away in the Linear menulet, where you can change the measurement unit. It supports both pixels and ems, which is perfect for CSS projects. Plus, you can set your base font value!

Aligning Objects

Linear isn't just about measuring; it's also great for checking if your objects are aligned or centered. You can create duplicate rulers that move around easily, letting you compare measurements from different sections.

Compatibility with Other Apps
