What is Lgi?

LGI

LGI is a cool open-source GUI framework that helps you work around the differences between operating systems. It's designed to make things easier by providing a solid API that programs can use without any hassle.

What Makes LGI Unique?

The developers of LGI really focused on creating a compact tool that’s easy to share and use. The API strikes a great balance between functionality and simplicity. So, whether you're a pro or just starting out, LGI has got your back!

Handling Graphical Interfaces

Even though LGI doesn’t go for a shared-library approach (which means it won’t be shared between apps), it can handle tons of graphical interface tasks, network connections, and other important stuff for making lightweight and responsive software.

Getting Started with LGI

If you're ready to dive in, compiling LGI is super straightforward! Just load [lgi]/Lgi_vc9.sln into Visual C++ 2008 and start building away. When you’re building your program, expand your workspace with the [lgi]/Lgi_vc9.vxproj project and check out the settings you need.

Troubleshooting with Documentation

If you run into any bumps or have questions about how to use the library, don’t sweat it! You can always check out [Lgi]/docs/html/index.html. The documentation is super helpful and should clear up any confusion.
