Description

Mirroring your phone to your computer has a few key advantages, most of which have to do with going to a bigger screen. Besides being advantageous for accessibility, as users can enjoy looking at their phone from a larger display, displaying content is much easier and convenient this way.

For example, you can show photos and videos to your friends without having to huddle near a 6-inch screen, so screen mirroring solutions can be quite valuable. If you’re looking for an app that supports both Android and iOS devices, Kingshiper Screen Mirroring takes little time to set up and get started with.

The app addresses the needs of Android and iOS users who are after an intuitive screen mirroring solution. As I am not an Android user, I was only able to test how the app cooperates with an iOS device, and the results were quite satisfactory.

In short, there was very little setup to begin with. On iOS, all you have to do is ensure your phone and computer are connected to the same WiFi network, then navigate to the Screen Mirroring menu on your iPhone, where your computer should appear. The connection didn’t require inputting a PIN, so it got approved without any intervention.

The screen mirroring worked as expected, as I was now seeing my phone’s feed on my laptop. You can take screenshots, record video, and use the Whiteboard function for drawing, which I surmise would be useful for presentations.

Mirroring-wise, everything went well enough, but my computer was barely chugging along during testing. My cursor would stutter and inputs would be registered seconds later, which would manifest regardless of whether my phone was connected or not. CPU or memory usage weren’t so high as to warrant such a performance drop, either. Curiously, closing the app entirely would get rid of the lag.

Kingshiper Screen Mirroring should work just fine for most users, however. It’s likely this was just an isolated case, as other computers didn’t exhibit this problem during testing. You may experience a few hiccups while mirroring, but as a third-party solution, it should get the job done.
