Karasunpo is a super easy tool that helps you measure lengths and angles in images or PDF files. If you're curious about figuring out the actual size of objects in a picture, this app is perfect for you!
This application comes in two versions: one you can set up on your computer, and a portable version if you don't want to install anything. The best part? It has a clean, simple interface that makes everything straightforward. You get a big working area where you can drop your file in, plus an instruction section on the left to help guide you through.
You can kick things off by opening an image—just click the button or drag and drop it into the window. Once that's done, choose how you want to measure: radians, the angle of a segment, or just the length of that segment. You can even change the color of your measurement line so it's easier to see as you go.
Next up, you'll draw your measurement line right on the image. If needed, zoom in to make sure you're capturing everything accurately. If it helps, there's an option to highlight your segment with a circle. After all that measuring, Karasunpo will show you both the length and angle!
If you're used to grabbing a measuring tape for dimensions in real life, you'll find that doesn't work well with images! To really know how big something is in an image, specialized tools like this are key. While Karasunpo focuses on nominal sizes (those are values we use often), it still gives useful insights tailored for various fields.
If you're looking for a friendly utility that makes measuring angles and lengths from images hassle-free, Karasunpo is definitely worth checking out!
