jOcular is a straightforward Java application that provides the necessary tools to design complex optical systems.
The optical system can include light sources, apertures, lenses, prisms, gratings, images and more.
Thanks to jOcular you will be able to effortlessly simulate the photon trajectories through your custom made system and compute images at different locations in your design.
jOcular comes with a user-oriented interface from which you can easily delete or add spherical lenses, a point source, triangular prisms, an image source and an imager.
The jOcular utility is a cross-platform software that can be used on any platform that features Java compatibility (e.g. Mac OS X, Linux, Windows).
