This application is perfect for sharing serial port devices over the network. That means client stations can access those devices without a hitch!

How It Works

The magic happens through TCP or IP data transfer, which connects the necessary stations. The program has two main parts: the Server and the Client. You install the Server on the computer that's connected to your COM device, while the Client can run on multiple other computers.

Connecting Multiple Clients

The Server supports several Client connections over TCP/IP, so any application running on those clients can access the target COM device easily through this link.

Setting Up Your Connection

If you're using it as a Server station, you'll need to set up your connection by specifying details like COM type, Baud rate, data bits, parity/flow control, and which network interface to use.

Supported Network Types

You can use Local Area Networks (LAN) or Ethernet interfaces and choose between TCP or UDP protocols. Plus, you get to select your port number or stick with the default setting!

Create Connection Sessions on Clients Too

Your Client computer also needs a connection session. Just specify the right COM port type, network interface, and remote server identifiers.

Easily Create New Ports

If you don't see the required COM ports available, don't worry! You can easily create a new one.

Configure Virtual Port Pairs

You can even set up virtual port pairs using com0com, which installs automatically with the Client app. This tool lets you configure these virtual ports by toggling options like Ports class and Baud rate emulation.
