Unlike traditional virtualization solutions such as VMware ThinApp and Microsoft App-V, InstallAware Virtualization packages do not require pre-extraction on the host computer. Instead, applications run directly from a single, highly portable executable file, which can be stored on a network location, USB drive, or physical hard disk. Its agentless architecture eliminates the need for pre-installing agent code on target devices, simplifying the deployment process.

Furthermore, InstallAware Virtualization offers a royalty-free licensing model, removing the need for separate client access licenses for individual users.
