Infix Pro is a PDF editor that delivers most of the capabilities one would expect from a word processor. However, Infix Pro does not come with native macOS support and requires Wine to be able to run on Mac.

User Interface:

The Infix Pro's user interface is divided into two main areas: the working canvas and the toolbars that integrate all the editing tools. It offers the possibility to change font style and color, create hyperlinks or link text, grab snapshots, insert or rotate pages, and more.

Like most word processors, any change made to a PDF document in Infix Pro will reassess the entire content and perform necessary modifications to maintain a unified appearance.

• OCR capabilities

Infix Pro also includes a spelling checker that supports over 15 languages. Document translation is handled by the TransPDF.com platform using the XLIFF standard.

Despite the lack of native macOS support, Infix Pro delivers robust editing capabilities. The interface design does not follow macOS Human Interface Guidelines, but it provides a familiar workspace for editing PDF documents.
