ICE# is a lightweight web browser designed for simple internet browsing. It’s perfect for anyone who wants to surf the web without all the fuss.
One cool thing about ICE# is that it’s a portable program. This means you can carry it on a USB flash drive or other devices, and it won’t leave any traces in your Windows Registry. You can just plug it in and start browsing right away!
The browser has a clean and simple layout. It keeps things easy by offering only a few settings to adjust. The default search engine is set, so you won’t be changing that anytime soon.
For those who might not be super tech-savvy, ICE# makes navigating the internet straightforward. You can easily access your homepage with one click, go back or forward between pages, refresh the page, print what you see, or even stop loading if it’s taking too long.
You can save webpages as HTML files or archive them in MHT format. Plus, if you find an image you like, you can save it as either JPG or BMP! Want to share pictures? You can email them directly or set one as your wallpaper. It even lets you open your My Pictures folder and copy images for use in other programs.
While ICE# does its job, the loading speed isn’t super fast. It's still in early development stages and definitely needs some upgrades to compete with other well-known browsers out there. For example, features like bookmarks, custom homepages, search engines, and multi-tabbed browsing would make it much better.
This browser is great for basic surfing but could really use some extra options to attract more advanced users. Adding these would help improve its functionality overall.
