HideWindow is a small Visual Basic program designed to help you show or hide any program's window on your Windows operating system. Originally created to hide WinWedge running instances, it can now toggle off any program window with ease.

The application features a classic interface with a single window where you can navigate a drop-down menu to select the window you want to hide. It also allows you to include other hidden windows and list all top-level windows.

If you prefer more control, you can run HideWindow via your default console. The program accepts command line arguments such as a COM port number (e.g., COM1 to COM8) or the title bar text of a running Windows program. When providing a COM port number, HideWindow will locate an active instance of WinWedge on that port and hide its window, including the taskbar icon. Alternatively, specifying the title bar text of a running Windows program will hide that window.
