GSM Guard is a super handy app that helps you keep an eye on multiple places like buildings, parks, or any location you want, even when you're not there. It's perfect for remote surveillance.
This program can read signals from IP cameras, alarm systems, and other security devices. Plus, it sends notifications straight to your phone! So if something happens at one of your spots, you'll be the first to know.
GSM Guard can get info from remote systems using a GSM modem. It also processes data over TCP/IP connections or through a COM port. The configurations supported for this are RS-232 and RS-485.
The app can record data using GSM by default but can be expanded with cool plug-ins to make it even better. Each site you want to watch is saved on its own card with all the necessary details.
You'll need to tell it what device you're monitoring, the site name, phone numbers, address, type of device, and its status. You can run commands through the web or use a PIN code—both options just need your login info.
GSM Guard lets you pinpoint your location on a world map by entering longitude and latitude in degrees. This makes tracking everything super easy!
You can set different types of commands based on changes in an object's status. These alerts can have specific priorities that might need admin attention or can be sent to other operators.
All messages linked to your selected object show up in one place along with the device's phone number and timestamps. GSM Guard even has a stats feature that counts alert frequencies based on date or message type!
You can see where your objects are located on the map and create an event calendar too! Set reminders for special dates or repeat events and forward received messages to other numbers as needed.
