Getting Started with Gibu
To kick things off with Gibu, you just need to install it on your computer. Don’t worry, it’s really simple—just like most other apps you probably use. Once it's up and running, you'll see a friendly 4-step wizard that will help you set everything up.
Step 1: Generate Your GitHub Token
Your first step is to generate a GitHub Token from your GitHub account. You can do this by visiting the Personal access tokens page. It’s straightforward!
Step 2: Enter Your Token in Gibu
Next, just pop that token into the app. After that, choose where you want to save your backups—whether it's on your local drive or an external one—and then finish setting things up.
Selecting Repositories for Backup
Once you're done with the setup, you'll land on the app's main interface. Here’s where the fun begins! You can pick which repositories you want to back up from a dropdown list. Feel free to select them one by one or back them all up at once! The menu in the upper left corner lets you change your token or adjust where your backups go.
