Setting Up Getleft

When you first open the program, you'll get to set up a few things like the interface language, proxy server, and authentication details. It’s all pretty straightforward!

User-Friendly Interface

The layout of the app is simple, making it easy to navigate. If you've used similar tools before, you’ll feel right at home. To start downloading, just enter the URL and choose where you want to save your files. You can kick off the download right away or schedule it for later.

Download Queue Features

Your download queue shows you everything you need: the URL, status, and where each file is being saved on your device. Plus, Getleft lets you create a site map and pick up any tasks that were paused from the File menu. Want to filter what types of files to download? No problem! You can ignore certain links or set limits on levels and file types (like images or HTML). You can even clean out custom file types and check out log details about your downloads.

Performance and Reliability

This download manager doesn't hog your CPU or memory; it's pretty light on resources! It responds quickly and manages downloads in a reasonable time frame without throwing error messages during our tests. Getleft ran smoothly without crashing or freezing up. And if you're ever confused about something, there's a help file available too.

Visual Improvements Needed

While Getleft does its job well, we think some updates would be nice for its appearance since it hasn’t been refreshed in quite some time.
