Gate Browser is a super simple browser built on Chromium. It makes browsing so easy that you only need a couple of buttons to get around!

Dark Theme for Easy Viewing

The first thing you'll notice is its dark color scheme. This is great news for anyone who has trouble with their eyes or likes to browse at night. And if you prefer a lighter look, you can easily switch to a white theme using the button right below the Close button.

Cleansing Your Browsing History

If you glance near the theme switcher, there’s a trashcan icon. This lets you clear your entire browsing history and reset the browser. However, it’s kind of odd because there isn’t a visible History menu anywhere!

No Settings Menu?

You might also notice that there doesn't seem to be any settings menu available, at least not one that pops up easily. Because of this, features like a bookmark bar and extension manager are nowhere to be found.

Protective Features Always On

Another thing you'll spot is the shield icon, which aims to keep you safe from crypto-mining attempts while you're browsing. The cool part? This feature seems to be always active—you can't turn it on or off!
