FSlint project is a toolkit designed for finding redundant or questionable disk usage on your Linux system. Whether you prefer a graphical user interface or a command line interface, FSlint offers both options for your convenience.
The FSlint command acts as a wrapper for various tools that can be used individually. All tools within FSlint have a consistent interface, involving commands and paths for files and directories. If no paths are specified, the current directory is assumed as default.
Some tools within FSlint have unique options that can be explored using the '--help' command. Additionally, all extra commands are passed to 'find', enabling the application of different filtering commands. For example, you can process the entire system without traversing onto other mounted filesystems.
If you are using the RPM version, note that the main distinction from the source tarball is the inclusion of extra test directories. To create the RPM package, simply use 'rpmbuild -ta FSlint-x.xx.tar.gz'.
