Microsoft Forefront Security for Office Communications Server 2007 is a tool designed to protect Microsoft Exchange 2007 from malware attacks and content which no longer complies to the current Microsoft policies. It's made to work only with Windows Server 2008 and Windows Server 2003, which means that it has no value on newer OS editions, like Windows 10.
Installing the program shouldn't be an issue, since the wizard has only three steps that do not require any special attention. Provided that Microsoft Exchange 2007 is already installed on your PC, Microsoft Forefront Security for Office Communications Server 2007 will automatically detect the Exchange roles which exist on the server to figure out which FSE protection roles are needed.
Worth noting is that the management packs can be set up on the server that hosts System Center Operations Manager 2007, not on the one with Forefront Security for Office Communications Server.
It's also possible to add the management packs to a pre-Operations Manager 2007 R2 system and to directly import them from an online catalog into this type of system or a newer one. There are several steps available on Microsoft's website, which start with logging into the Operations Manager 2007 server using an account that has an Operations Manager role.
