FlashFurc is a cool little app that makes it super easy to create portable versions of Furcadia. Whether you have it installed or are starting fresh, this tool is perfect for taking your game—and all your characters—on the go without a hassle!

How Does FlashFurc Work?

You can choose to install Furcadia from either an existing installation (just make sure it's set up locally) or from any setup program you have handy. If you go with the local option, you've got some neat choices:

• You can copy your settings, which include things like your Pounce buddies.


• Your log files can be included too.


• If you've downloaded dreams in the past, you can grab those cache files (but honestly, that's not usually needed).

By default, only your settings will be copied since the other files are mostly optional. Now, if you decide to install using a Furcadia setup file instead, you'll get a clean version without those extra options.

Selecting Your Characters

No matter which way you choose to install, you'll be able to copy your character files over to your flash drive. All of them are selected automatically. If there are some characters you'd rather not take along, just click their names to unselect them.

If you're thinking about leaving out character files altogether, just uncheck the box next to them and that list will be disabled. Easy peasy!
