Description

File Encrypter is an open source graphical and command-line software written in Python and GTK+, and designed to help users to easily encrypt and decrypt files on their Linux desktop environment.

File Encrypter’s main goal is to bring an easy-to-use encryption and decryption solution for your personal files (text files, images, programs, archives, etc.). The GUI version is the recommended version, as it can be used by anyone.

On the other hand, if you want to use the command-line version of File Encrypter, execute the following command in a terminal to encrypt a file python encrypt_decrypt.py e a.txt and the python encrypt_decrypt.py d a.txt command to decrypt it.
