Figerty Contacts is a handy tool for managing your contacts. You know how smartphones can be pretty unreliable when it comes to keeping your address book safe? If you lose your phone or if something happens to the data, you could lose all those important numbers and emails. That’s where Figerty Contacts comes in!

Besides backing up your contacts to the cloud, having a digital address book on your computer is always a smart idea. Figerty Contacts is a Windows application that makes this easy without any complicated features. It helps you create an offline database of all your important contacts.

Getting Started with Figerty Contacts

This software isn’t exactly a personal information manager, but it gives you just what you need to add contacts easily. Just make sure you have .NET Framework running on your computer because it’s necessary for the app to work smoothly.

Simplicity at Its Best

The installation process is super simple, and while the interface might not win any design awards, its plain look makes it really user-friendly. You’ll find adding contacts straightforward; all you need to do is enter their first name, last name, phone number, email address, and any comments.

Add as Many Contacts as You Want

You can add as many contacts as you'd like—even duplicates! Just hit the “Save” button after entering details, and your address book will be saved in the app. The next time you open Figerty Contacts, all your info will be right there waiting for you.

Exporting Your Contacts

If you want to save these contacts into a file, just click “Export to Excel” from the “File” menu. But heads up—it actually saves them as a .csv file named “Contacts.csv” in your root drive instead of an .xls file.

Admin Privileges Needed

The downside? You can’t change where this file goes or what it’s called. Since C: is usually where Windows operates from, you'll need admin privileges to run Figerty Contacts properly. This means regular users can’t save contacts unless they have those permissions—kind of a bummer!

A Few Glitches

During our tests, we faced some errors when trying to open the help file or check for software updates while saving files without admin rights in C:. However, aside from these issues, Figerty Contacts functions well enough for creating simple contact lists.
