Ezdit is a super handy cross-platform text editor that makes it easy for anyone to store plain or rich text files in a neat tree structure. You can write and tweak plain text, HTML, or Java files without any fuss!

The cool thing about Ezdit is that you don’t even need to install it on your computer. Just pop it on a thumb drive, and you can access your files from anywhere! How awesome is that?

This app comes wrapped in a sleek and user-friendly interface. It has everything you need: a project tree system, an outline panel, an editing pad, and a notes tab. It’s all organized so you can find what you're looking for quickly.

Create Your Own Database

You can create a new database just for your HTML or JavaScript drafts or even personal notes. Ezdit lets you customize the project tree however you like—add folders and multiple text files or TCL scripts as needed.

Edit Existing Documents

If you've got existing documents on your computer, you can open them up in Ezdit and edit away! Plus, you can set hotkeys for specific commands to make things quicker.

Task Management Made Simple

The outline feature only works for TLC files, but there’s also a notes tab where you can jot down tasks or chores. You can even mark them as complete when you're done!

Editing Features Galore

The 'Edit' menu has tons of useful options! You can jump to specific lines, find and replace words easily, adjust indents, and add block comments without any hassle.

Customizable Encoding Options

You also get to change the default encoding settings between ASCII, UTF-8, Asia languages, Middle East languages, or Eastern European languages from the same menu. And don’t forget—you can enable syntax highlighting and hints too!
