Duck Hunt

Duck Hunt is a fun little widget made for the Yahoo! Widget Engine. With this widget, you can play the classic Duck Hunt game right on your desktop or anywhere else you work. It’s super easy to set up and get going!

Simple Gameplay and Easy Setup

The interface is pretty straightforward. You get a small frame that tracks your score, and all you have to do is click on the flying ducks to “shoot” them down. It’s simple yet addictive!

Customize Your Game

You can tweak the settings through the Widget Preferences panel, which you can find by right-clicking on the widget. Here, you can change how fast the ducks fly away, adjust how long they stick around before taking off, and even play with sound options. Want two ducks instead of one? You got it! You can also pick your favorite color for the score display.

Light on Resources

This little guy doesn’t hog your computer's resources at all. It's light on CPU and RAM usage, so it won’t slow anything down while you're trying to play. In our tests, we didn’t see any error messages pop up, and it didn’t freeze or crash either.

No Extra Features?

Now, it's worth mentioning that Duck Hunt doesn’t come with extra ducks or levels of difficulty to spice things up. Plus, it hasn’t had an update in a while. But if you're just looking for a quick game to enjoy during breaks, this little widget does its job well.
