What is DocFlex/Doclet?

DocFlex/Javadoc is a cool tool that actually has two main parts: the DocFlex Doclet and the Template Designer. It's pretty handy if you’re into creating documentation!

Understanding the Components

If you want to use the Template Designer to whip up your own documentation, you'll need a little knowledge about DocFlex Technology. But don't worry! If you're just using the DocFlex Doclet, you won't need to know too much beyond what’s explained on this page.

What Does It Do?

This is where it gets interesting! The DocFlex Doclet, when paired with some good templates, acts just like any other Javadoc doclet. It takes options from the Javadoc command line and generates your documentation output. How easy is that?

Getting Started with Templates

Once you've got your hands on those ready-to-use templates, you're all set to start generating documentation right away! You can create documents in any format that DocFlex core supports. It really makes things simple!

You’ll find a basic set of templates included in both packages available for download: 'DocFlex/Javadoc' and 'DocFlex/Doclet'. So grab them and start creating awesome docs!
