DExposE2 is a cool new task switcher that's perfect if you're tired of the old Alt + Tab method on Windows. It’s inspired by the flashy Mac OS X Expose tool, which means you can give your Windows setup a fresh and appealing look.
So, what exactly does DExposE2 do? It offers a brand-new way to switch between active windows. You can just move your mouse cursor to the corners of your screen to see what’s open! Pretty neat, right?
If you love keyboard shortcuts, good news! You can set up hotkeys for all its features. But honestly, using the mouse feels quicker and smoother. When you nudge your cursor into a corner, thumbnails of all running apps pop up. Just one click and you’re in!
If you want to adjust any settings, you'll need to dive into the preferences window. Now, here's where it gets a bit tricky: it’s not super user-friendly. There are tons of options available, but finding what you need might feel like a scavenger hunt through various menus.
You can tweak things like how expose works and manage your thumbnail views or even create an exclusion list for apps you don't want showing up. However, be prepared—this isn’t exactly plug-and-play!
A downside is that there’s no help manual included with DExposE2. So if something goes wrong or if you're confused about a feature, you’re kind of on your own.
DExposE2 aims to bring that stylish Mac experience to Windows users. But there's a catch: it doesn’t play nicely with Windows 7 since the bottom right corner is already taken up by the desktop preview feature.
