DejaVu fonts is a platform-independnet font family based on the 1.10 version of the Bitstream Vera fonts, aiming to provide a wider range of characters.
The DejaVu fonts’ ultimate goal is to maintain the look and feel of the original Vera fonts, through the process of collaborative development, but under a Free license.
The DejaVu fonts provided here are distributed as TrueType fonts (TTF) and also as third-party packages for various Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, Windows or Mac OS X operating systems, including mobile operating systems like Android or iOS.
