Once you install the program, launching it is a breeze! You can dive right in without needing to be a tech expert. It’s designed to be simple enough for anyone to handle right from the first run.

Main Features of DeadPix

The main window of DeadPix lets you tweak its settings quickly and easily. You can pick the color that will flash on your screen with just a few clicks of your mouse. Choose from colors like ‘Red’, ‘Green’, ‘Blue’, ‘Black’, or even let it go ‘Random’ to see where those pesky dead pixels are hiding.

Customizing Your Experience

If you want something different, there’s also a ‘Custom’ option where you can select colors using an integrated color picker. Plus, you can adjust how fast the colors change by moving a slider! Want faster changes? Hit the ‘-’ sign for less time between colors or use the ‘+’ sign to slow things down.

Finding and Fixing Stuck Pixels

After setting everything up, just click on ‘Start’. DeadPix will begin flashing your chosen color on the screen, helping you pinpoint that annoying stuck pixel. If you find one, there’s a cool tool called the ‘Pixel Fixer’ that lets you target that area directly.

The Pixel Fixing Process

This part asks you to define exactly where the stuck pixel is located. Then it’ll flash different colors in that spot for about ten minutes straight! Just keep in mind: while this method can work, it's not guaranteed to fix every stuck pixel.
